Exploit Yourself is a spec commercial directed by Carl Erik Rinsch and inspired by Nike. Showing off the spark and freshness of the city, combined with the strength and power of modern sport competition, this commercial was produced in Big Lazy Robot Visual Effects studio from February to May. Even though this isn’t an official ad, it’s still one of the coolest commercials we’ve seen in awhile!

It was wack as hell that Go Skateboarding Day got canceled in NY last week but they made the right decision, it was a shitty day with at least 5 different major downpours. Anyway, things are looking up this weekend with Go Skateboarding Day now going on Saturday with bright sun in the forecast! To show how psyched they are CCS decided to do a NY to LA Go Skateboarding Day commemorative tee. They are also hooking up an ice cream truck for skaters to follow around the city and get blessed with free ice cream and these tees. Two places you can definitely find the truck are the Chinatown skatepark and KCDC.
On this day of conflicted emotions following the loss of Michael Jackson yesterday, Neff has released a simple and powerful statement with their “Long Live the King” tee. Classic yet rad, it reminds us how great the King of Pop once was and that for all the chaos of his later life, there was and will be no one who will ever do it better than him. RIP MJ. Purchase details coming soon on the Neff site.
The Nike Air Hoop Structure has been released in a new colorway, as part of the Nike Fall 2009 Collection. As the name implies, the shoe is a basketball make up of the classic Nike Air Structure Triax ‘91. While the typical hybrid has crossed a two designs from a single type, this breaks a mold generating a basketball shoe from a runner. The sole has been modified, the heel counter raised, but at essence the Air Structure Triax sings through. Here it comes in a white/turquoise/orange colorway.
